Aromatherapy was published in June 2001. She co-authored Aux Petits Maux,
Les Nouveau Remedes, published June 2002. Suzanne has been certified by

She may be reached at 416-405-8855 or 1-866-405-8855. |
| Georgia Deutsch teaches
weekly herbal distillation classes at the Ojai Valley Inn &
Spa. Using a traditional French still known as an "alambique,"
Georgia follows the ageless distillation process of steaming the herbs
and collecting the essential oil and the hydrosol, or floral water, that
is the end result. Each distillation produces a unique product that
reflects the particular variety of lavender used, and even the season
and weather -- much like a wine reflects the "terroir" of the
vines. She may be reached at 805-646-5511. |
| Susan McRae is
the founder and principal of California Lavender specialty foods, makers
of lavender-infused jellies, vinegars and other fine floral foods. She is
a frequent speaker on growing and using lavender as well as teacher of
cooking with lavender and other herbs. Susan is a founding sponsor of the
Ojai Lavender Festival and founder of the non-profit California Lavender
Association which promotes the quality of California-grown lavender. She
may be reached at 805-798-1231. |
| Sandy Messori, graduate
of Cal Poly University, California in Ornamental Horticulture, worked in
Landscape Management at Ojai Valley Inn for 12 years, developing a large
herb garden with labyrinth meditation walk especially for their renowned
Spa and teaching herbal classes at the Spa. Sandy has recently begun to
distill her own line of essential oils from the lavender and other herbs
she grows on her Rivendell Aromatics property. She is a familiar sight at
Farmers’ Markets in Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties. She may be
reached at 805-649-2476. |
