Location Just 90 miles north of Los Angeles in Ventura County, the Ojai Valley is a jewel of a day or weekend getaway. For information about the Valley, lodging, restaurants, directions and events, please visit the Ojai Valley Visitors Bureau at www.ojaichamber.org.
Libbey Park: East Ojai Avenue between Signal and Montgomery Streets in downtown Ojai. Parking is available on the street or at Libbey Park lot on South Montgomery Street.
Directions Northbound (e.g., from Los Angeles): Take the 101 north through the San Fernando Valley to Ventura County. At the north end of the city of Ventura, exit onto Route 33/Ojai. After five miles of freeway, Route 33 becomes a two-lane road winding through the Ojai Valley for about 9 miles. Follow 33 through the towns of Casitas Springs, Oak View and Mira Monte. At the "Y" intersection (Von's), proceed straight on Route 150 into the town of Ojai. After the third stoplight (Signal Street) you will see Libbey Park on your right opposite the Arcade. Southbound (e.g., from Santa Barbara): Take the 101 south, exiting at Route 33/Ojai. After five miles of freeway, Route 33 becomes a two-lane road winding through the Ojai Valley for about 9 miles. Follow 33 through the towns of Casitas Springs, Oak View and Mira Monte. At the "Y" intersection (Von's), proceed straight on Route 150 into the town of Ojai. After the third stoplight (Signal Street) you will see Libbey Park on your right opposite the Arcade. |
