1pm     -   Marleen Luckman on “Keeping House ‘Green’ with Lavender”

                    Marleen Luckman holds an MS in Family Environmental Science

                    and is a certified Building Biology Environmental Inspector (BBEI).

                    She is a teacher through the International Institute of Building Biology

                    and Ecology as well as a nutrition/cleansing coach and public speaker

                    on environmental issues as they relate to our health.

2pm     -   Mary Z and the Hill Fillies

3pm     -   Karen Evenden on "Lavender - Cultivation to Kitchen"

                    Karen Evenden and her husband Bill own New Oak Ranch, a family farm

                    committed to growing quality lavender, Ojai Pixie Tangerines, olives and walnuts.

                    She is the author of A Taste of Croatia, published in 2007.

2008 Featured Artist: Nancy Horwick

Nancy Horwick is a long-time Ojai resident.  A former student of established British trompe l ‘oeil painter Robert Walker, she has also worked out of Kim Smith’s studio in Ojai. She is a member of Ojai Art Center, SCAPE (Southern California Artists Painting the Environment), the Carpinteria Valley Arts Council, and the Buenaventura Art Association.  Her work may be seen at the Chaz Benton Gallery in Ojai.  Nancy will be signing copies of the "Fragrant Read" poster at the Festival.
